The property itself is quite stunning. It literally looks like it came straight out of a movie and every little detail has been polished to perfection. It feels almost unworldly to walk up to the building and up the stairs and down the hallways. In every sense you can feel the history of the place and be blown away by the colossally high ceilings and amazing light fixtures and woodwork. We had a very lovely stay there and everything was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was a nice touch, and although very basic, I did not expect it at a hotel of this caliber so that was nice. Usually the nicer the hotel, the less that is provided for free so any breakfast was a surprising extra. Location of the hotel is quite convenient to Buffalo and many great restaurants and the Navy Park, which was really fun to walk around.

The hotel has such an interesting history that we had to stay here! What a beautiful and remarkable renovation! We walked around the interior and took tons of photos and the exterior perimeter. The person at the desk was knowledgeable and friendly. Our room was lively. The large windows are awesome! I can't say enough good things about it and would stay here again! The restoration is magnificent. They left exposed columns and other areas which was super cool. We took tons of photos. It was only about 15 minutes to the airport. Good location. Bed was quite comfortable. I think all of the signage was helpful in such a large facility. The small museum downstairs was agreat addition and quite interesting.

I absolutely loved the restoration of the building. They added modern aspects such as the beautiful bathroom and elevators, but I loved that they tried to keep the same look and feel of the hospital. The high ceilings in our room were really impressive I was definitely impressed by the grounds. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was great, fresh and delicious. They had frittatas one morning with pancakes. The next morning were scrambled eggs and pancakes. There was granola, yogurt and a variety of pastries. Coffee was always fresh. I really loved that they had fresh coffee in the lobby as well as lemon water.

The Richardson Hotel was an architectural gem, rich in history and significance. Its stunning design and intricate details made it a breathtaking sight, while its past told a fascinating story of elegance and transformation. Learning about its history was both enlightening and captivating, offering a glimpse into a bygone era of grandeur. The pictures captured how it once stood in all its glory, showcasing its beautiful craftsmanship and timeless charm, preserving its legacy for generations to appreciate.

The location couldn't be beat. Staying at a historic hotel on a college campus when the students were gone for the summer was a kick. Situated perfectly between Buffalo happenings and Niagara Falls. Walking distance to the art museum and great neighborhood coffee shops! Ate at the Cocina in the hotel one night. The waitstaff at the bar were very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Had an amazing pork belly and the best tiramisu I've ever head. Highly recommend.
